guess where the boyfriend and I went yesterday? let's pretend you don't know... WE WENT TO UNDERWATER WORLD AND NIGHT SAFARI!

k, I can't explain the caps lock. haha. I guess it stems from the fact that it was my first time at Underwater World. so yeah.. excited lor. 

I don't know if it's just me but ... it was kinda boring. oh, and it didn't help that the place was swarmed with foreigners. and may I just say, for the first time ever, the fishes there smelled better than the crowd. tone down on the coconut oil, people! and invest in deodorants! geeeeeeeez.

so anyway, pictures.

yeah, don't be fooled like we were. they're transparent but are illuminated by the multi-coloured lightings. cheaters.

Night Safari was another experience altogether. but like Underwater World, it was swarmed too with both locals and foreigners. it was really really packed. We didn't get to watch the Creatures of the Night show because it was full for all the time slots. way to go. and there was a one hour waiting time for the tram ride. woofuckinghoo.

but you know what's worse than the waiting time though? being stuck to a PRC couple who wouldn't stop yapping. and also, the woman tried to jump queue so I tripped her. HEHEHEHE. she was asking for it lah k. she was rushing for dono what fuck also and what's the fucking point? her partner was behind anyway! stewpid.

oh but wait, you know what's worse than being stuck in the queue with them? it's BEING STUCK ON THE TRAM RIDE WITH THEM. give me a fucking break! and the woman stepped on my Birks too! fucking hell. while on the tram ride, they kept taking photos with their flash on despite numerous reminders from the guide that flash photography wasn't allowed.

actually, her partner was alright. he did make the mistake of taking one photo with the flash on but stopped after that. the woman, on the other hand, took control of the camera and started snapping away like nobody's business. and they got into an argument (a loud one at that) when her partner told her not to use flash. I had to 'SSHHHHHHH!' them because they were creating quite a ruckus in the midst of the darkness and serenity.

they finally shut up after a while, but hell. what do you know right? a fat know-it-all boy and his father were seated behind us. after the PRC couple shut up, he started spouting facts here and there.

"I can see why they're called (something something). (something something) is a sword."

take that statement and multiply it by twenty with different variations, and you've got the boy. okay I admit, he's smart. but you know, he should learn to keep his mouth shut and absorb information IN SILENCE. the silver lining was that I learned more from him that I did from the guide. HAHA. stupid fat chingko boy.

so that was all we did at Night Safari - just a tram ride. well at least it wasn't a ten minute tram ride. so it was worth the wait.

after that, we headed to Old Woodlands to have supper with Abu. the food was shitty. I still think the coffeeshop behind serves better food.
